Researches in Support of CCSVI Cure for Multiple Sclerosis

Chronic cerebro-spinal venous insufficiency (CCSVI) is popular in terms of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). However, the debate about MS and CCSVI is still on as there is not clear data to support it. Though, many clinical studies are going on, still there is no clear picture available on this.

Proposed consequences of CCSVI syndrome contain iron deposits, intracranial hypoxia, increased transmural pressure, delayed perfusion, and reduced drainage of catabolites. MS have been proposed as a possible result of CCSVI.

Treatments for CCSVI are offered at several locations with successful results. Here are some results of the researches conducted on the CCSVI cure. These might support CCSVI treatment for Multiple Sclerosis:
  • In 2008, Paulo Zamboni along with his team discovered that MS is associated with CCSVI in which there is a compromised flow of blood in veins of Central Nervous Systems.

  • Many patients suffering from CCSVI conditions have been treated successfully using the Liberation Procedure.

  • Clinical finding from Buffalo University stated that over 55% of patients with MS showed symptoms of CCSVI. The number of patients reached to 62.5% after including borderline cases in the data.

  • As per the article published on Neurology Today, medical experts felt the requirement of further studies before determining any solution.

  • Some clinical findings oppose the results of Paulo Zamboni. Such studies have discovered that many MS patients have CCSVI conditions.

Before considering the CCSVI operation, ensure that you go through some reviews of people who have already undergone such treatments. This would be a good way to prevent any major concern.
